Our Story:
When she started working with private practices, Audrey Barbier, the founder of Medex was shocked by how much time and money doctors devote to the business aspects of their practices even though most have no particular interest in business and would rather spend more time with their patients. She could not believe that overhead expenses run so high for so many.
By tailoring business principles to the unique industry that is healthcare, she was able to streamline the administration and reduce the doctors’ overhead drastically. Doctors were able to focus on medicine and the human aspect of their job rather than numbers and management, while enjoying a larger share of their income.
Medex was founded so other doctors could benefit from this experience. It was started as an alternative. Unlike other services available, it is specific to the needs of private practices. Just like you tailor treatments to each of your patients, we tailor our services to the unique needs of your profession.
